Summer Reading Program

May contain: advertisement, poster, art, and graphics

Join us from June 5th through July 23rd for the 2023 Summer Reading Program!

The Dolores Public Library offers a youth (0-17) and a grown-up (18+) program.

There is no cost, and everyone is welcome to participate!

Register below to participate in the reading challenge.

  • Youth: Record reading minutes on reading logs you submit at your convenience at the library, or online at bit.ly/submityourminutes. All youth participants will receive books and prizes at the end. The reader with the most minutes in each age range (0-5, 6-12, and 13-17) will win a special grand prize.
  • Grown-ups: Features a reading challenge card with a checklist of different types of books to read. Each book read earns an entry to win one of two $100 gift cards to Kelly's Kitchen.

Read to yourself, to someone else, be read to, listen to audiobooks... All reading counts!

Visit the library to participate in the activities. A new take-and-make activity for kids will be available every week to pick-up at your leisure. Mondays at 10:30a, Storytime for preschoolers will have an "All Together Now" related theme. Fridays at 1p the library will host an event.
