Adventure Begins at Dolores Public Library | Summer Reading 2024

A graphic with a tent, animal silhouettes, stars, and the text "Adventure begins at Dolores Public Library".

Join us from June 10th through July 29th for the 2024 Summer Reading Program!

The Dolores Public Library offers a youth (0-17) and a grown-up (18+) program.

There is no cost, and everyone is welcome to participate!

Register below to participate in the reading challenge.

  • Youth: Record reading minutes on reading logs you submit at your convenience at the library, or Register for Summer Reading Here. All youth participants will receive books and prizes at the end. The reader with the most minutes in each age range (0-5, 6-12, and 13-17) will win a special grand prize.
  • Grown-ups: Read what you want!

Read to yourself, to someone else, be read to, listen to audiobooks... All reading counts!

Visit the library to participate in the activities. A new take-and-make activity for kids will be available every week to pick-up at your leisure. Mondays at 11a, Storytime for preschoolers will have an  adventure related theme. Fridays at 1p the library will host an event.
