After school reading programs at the Dolores Public Library for K-1 will begin in September. This year we will divide the groups to keep the numbers more manageable. Each group will meet every-other Monday throughout the year from 3:30 to 4:30.
This program is for children who love books and are motivated to learn. It is not a remedial reading program. We will have story time, crafts, and snacks. Your child should be reminded that this program is a privilege. We don’t have time for discipline interruptions. It is free for all students, but we do ask parents to help provide snacks.
I will meet the students at school on Mondays at 3:15. We will take a school bus to the library. You must pick up your child at 4:30 at the library.
Please fill out the form below. We will also ask you to sign permission for taking pictures/videos to be used by the library or the local newspaper. There will be a sign-up list for snacks.
